Once in a lifetime ...
My sister and niece are waiting in a long line to see the Dalai Lama in Madison, Wis, right now. I'm very envious. What an opportunity!

Probably a duh! question, Cindy, but did your sister and niece hope to also hear him speak? As in a lecture of sorts? That'd be great!
I mean, I stood in a long line outside the Campbell Funeral Home on Madison Avenue, NYC, back in whenever that was just to traipse by the coffin of Judy Garland. I did see her, but wasn't able to hear her sing.
