Re: Welcome to the Pet Forum
Such beauties, one and all. Cloudy's colouring is lovely. And the Linus and Lucy pics made me laugh. You have quite the menagerie.

Re: Welcome to the Pet Forum
Hi Becky!
Your Cloudy is the spittin' image of Angelique, daughter of Boggles (a feisty calico). The pic almost took my breath away, as they say.
Both gals were at least 22 years old when they died.

Re: Welcome to the Pet Forum
Thank you both. They are my furry kids. Linus and Lucy have a big brother too. Need to get pics of him and the parents.
Cloudy and Smokey are brother and sister but she got a bit of him, dad and mom. They were part of a litter but we knew who the mother and father were. Both were wild stray. Amazingly enough she they and Chili are 6 years old and still semi feral. Trying to catch them for any reason is a challenge.
I will be checking out all the pictures here when I get home. Can't wait to see everyone's babies.

Re: Welcome to the Pet Forum
Those are all great, Bec! Although I don't see any of the referenced Linus and Lucy. Did I miss something?

Re: Welcome to the Pet Forum
Oh, I see now. I didn't have my screen scrolled over far enough to see their names. Thanks!

Re: Welcome to the Pet Forum
One more for you. This is Patches. He's a stray outside, he loves to sit and look in but won't let us near him... He has a heated house on the front porch.

Re: Welcome to the Pet Forum
Aww he's a beauty. I have a friend who places heated boxes for the strays who have decided to own her, too. So nice of you to look out for Patches.

Re: Welcome to the Pet Forum
Ditto what q said.
While I don't have regular contact, there's a feral cat living under an old mill at a pond I fish. Over the years, I've taken to tossing her a fish when we crossed path. She soon learned to follow me around the pond. I'd share all unwanted chub or suckers and the occasional trout. I'd like to think we bonded. Although she never stayed close enough to be petted, she once rubbed her cheek against my ankle while waiting for me to unhook a fish.
I felt like I'd been blessed by the Pope.

Re: Welcome to the Pet Forum
You were Frank
Strays are funny that way. Patches will sit about 4 feet away and hiss at you but when you go in he's on the window rubbing and acting goofy. When we feed him he sits and complains.
