Vino - In Praise of the Grape
I'm not particularly a fan of wine. (I know - shame on me.)
But I'm sure there's a few of you out there who might wish to talk about your favourites.
Have at it.

Re: Vino - In Praise of the Grape
Ahhh, now we're talking.
I've proudly progressed in the area of good wine over the years. I am still learning, but my tastes have graduated from only liking the sweetest whites (didn't know sqwat then) to being emersed in pleasure over a good Pinot Noir accompanied by a prime sirloin, or perhaps a crisp Savignon Blanc with the best fresh salmon.
I've learned that cost may not ever be a factor in the quality or likability of any wine, too. I've had really expensive Cabernet that was horrible, and the cheapest Rose that was pretty darn good.

Re: Vino - In Praise of the Grape
Oh dear! I'm here, Cindy.
I like my wine red (preferably), white or blush as long as it's not sparkly. If I'm sipping a glass on its own, I like it to be a light red or white. If it's full-bodied, there must be dinner or munchies.
One of my favourites is a very light, VERY inexpensive Fuzion Shiraz Malbec.

Oh, Hil. We need to get together. That blend is also a favorite of mine!
And, thanks for the support.

Re: Vino - In Praise of the Grape
My problem is that I don't actually like the taste of Alcohol.
So the only alcoholic drinks I normally have are the Fruit Based Ciders (pear, apple, blackcurrant, mixed berries etc)
Don't get me wrong, I like the odd glass of wine or beer but I couldn't tell a Merlot from a Meerkat.
