Re: On Tap Today
Long holiday weekend here in Canuckistan - the traditional first weekend of Summer. (We jump the gun a little, since summer is short enough as it is.)
It's a weekend of sun, fun and BBQ. Hope you're having a good one, wherever you are.

Re: On Tap Today
Just got back from a pleasant walk/photo jaunt in the field across the road. Nice, cool, breezy day. The wind made for some tough focusing but I think I got some decent shots of kingbirds, robins, grackles and (hopefully) a yellow warbler.
(I say hopefully because I haven't examined the shots yet and the wee rascal was hiding.)
Charlie re: Trek - I'm hearing thumbs up. Agree?

Re: On Tap Today
Just thought I'd let y'all know I've discovered the equivalent of a (successful) rain-dance. Wash your car!
Every dang time I wash my Crown Vic it rains. Washing history has proven it. Rain has begun 30 minutes into the wash. Even if sun is predicted that day AND the next, it will either rain the night of the wash or it will pour for the following 2 days. This has been going on for about 2 months. I washed it today. If I was a betting person, I'd bet if it doesn't rain tomorrow, it'll pour Sunday (and Monday).
My prediction is that SC won't have to worry about a drought this summer. All I have to do is wash my (big white) car.

Re: On Tap Today
Huh - must be a countrywide thing. Raining here AGAIN. Supposed to be cold and rainy all weekend. So much for my plans for a Memorial Day picnic.
