Re: On Tap Today
Slowly recovering from the plaque. Still having the occasional coughing fit, but there's light at the end of the tunnel.
Just hope it ain't a train....

Re: On Tap Today
Well, we survived the coldest February in many a moon. Still not exactly balmy at -15C but better than -30.
And lo and behold! The local weather weasels are predicting we'll get ABOVE the freezing mark by next Tuesday.
I'll believe it when I see the icicles drip....

Re: On Tap Today
Just a note (that mayhap nobody'll see) to say Hilary and I have parted ways.
If you guessed a correlation between my lack of involvement here and the disintegration of our relationship -- you'd probably be right.
Hope you other folks are doing well. I'll peek a tad more frequently to see if there's any signs of life.

Re: On Tap Today
Sorry to hear your news, Frank.
Am wondering if Hilary missed the city-ish atmosphere. I know I'd go nuts without more stimulation around me. A little of both would be nice... But, as you know, life does go on -- it's all about evolving and learning experiences, anyway.
Are you ready for the Tumultuous September that's predicted? Websites? Boy, could I give you websites! (Already we have bad news re the stock market/economy, etc.)

Re: On Tap Today
It's been a tumultuous time for a year or so, nevermind September.
But certainly the refugee situation in the ME is becoming critical and we in the West need to do our part to alleviate it.

Re: On Tap Today
Frank, sorry to hear about you and Hilary. Seriously.
Kitty, wuzzup, girl?
Not much going on here. Damn cave is dank. Mrs. Cur hikes down to town to haul back groceries and the like. Woman's work, you know.
Actually, it's the other way around. I gimp down the mountain. One knee is a couple thousand years older than this geezer. Knee and me have frequent conversations. They go something like this--
Knee: "What the !@#$ are you doing? I've told you this before."
Me: "Look, weakling, we were both young at the same time. What's your problem?"
Knee: "Leave me alone!"
Me: "I'm trying to, but you continue to make me limp, fuckwit."
Knee: "Did you just call me a fuckwit, moron?"
Me: "I did."
Knee: "Strap in, dickweed."
That's how it goes 'tween knee and me.

Re: On Tap Today
Hey, ol' Cur, you and I can chat with each other at least. I was hoping Frank or Chunky...or heck, some female from the past...would chime in first. Never happened.
Keep swirling your cranky knee with some White Light Protection (can't hoit, right?) and get yerself some crystals from your local New Age shop (assuming you got one somewhere within 20 miles or so). My daughter broke her ankle in June...badly, in three places...but she's back to teaching art again this year. Crutches, ankle brace and all. Dem bones, dem bones...

Stay well, ol' Cur. Y'got another damn school shooting out west now, don't you! What a world we live in. (Although, I think you live in Washington state.)

P.S. Now MY comment will sit here, lonely like, for who the hell knows how long. Oh well.

Re: On Tap Today
Couple of weeks, Kitty.
I'm living and dying (metaphorically) with the Blue Jays (as in, baseball) these days.
Also still pecking away at re-furnishing the place and trying to teach myself more about plants. Might try to get some going from seed this winter. Give me something else to do besides shovel snow and watch sports on the tube.
Cur, I know what it's like having parts of the body barking. And like you, I bark back.
Take care. I'll make a point of peeking in at least a couple times a week.
