Chickens
Awright, I got questions. Lookin' for answers.
Everyone knows chickens cross the road. Afore we get to the questions, I'll proffer that they do so for their own reasons. Unknowable why a chicken would do so.
Perhaps the chicken has a turtle buddy name of Elijah. Ol' E is sittin' on the road because he's slow and, more important, the Macadam is warm.
Mebbe the chicken has a date on the far side of the road. I dunno.
Maybe the chicken is a pilot for Malaysia Airlines and was heading off to work. (That might could 'splain some things. Kitty, you reading this?)
So, anybuddy interested offer your thoughts.
I got to git.

Re: Chickens
They like the feel of the concrete on their little footsies, that's why! Change is good, even for chicken dinners (which reminds me, I plan to rustle up some organic chicken tenders this eve.)
You'd get sick of free-ranging around the same green grass after a while too, Ol' Cur.

Re: Chickens
I think the chicken did indeed cross the road to get to his turtle buddy Elijah.
But why did the turtle cross the road? Probably to get to the Shell station.
