Re: Happy Halloween!!

This was my first Halloween without a single munchkin coming for treats. We're too far off the beaten path.

It's kind of a double shame. 1- I enjoy seeing and interacting with the costumed kids and 2 - Now I have to eat the 95 little chocolate bars I bought just in case some kids DID show up.

I know just what you mean, Frank. We had just two little ones show up, and I had to practically race out to the road and grab them. I was standing on our balcony and saw them walking the street. I yelled that I had candy (their mom was with them) and brought it out before they could get away. I was so excited, I forgot to see what they were wearing, lol.

And if you need some help with that candy . . . well, I'm just saying, I'm here for you.

You gave me my first chuckle of the day, Tinman. So it's come to that, has it! We now have to beg the little beggars to scarf down the cavity producing sugar! emoticon (Nobody showed up where I live...rainy weather, for one thing. Plus, we're sort of away from the village area.)

Yeah, Frank, you'll notice that -- as great as solitude can be -- humans DO need to connect with others on a regular basis. Or possibly go mad. emoticon

We had a few dozen kids, but we bought enough for twice that.
