Recent/Current TV Faves
I watch a fair bit of sports (insert Q eye-roll here) but make time for a few other faves.
30 Rock (gonna miss it)
Parks and Recreation
Modern Family
The Middle
Not hooked on a drama right now but recently rented and enjoyed the first season of Deadwood and will scope out at least the next season too.
And son #2 bought the first two seasons of Game of Thrones. Am looking forward to checking it out soon as well.

Re: Recent/Current TV Faves
My son is really into Game of Thrones. Haven't watched it myself, but he says it's terrific!
Big on Downton Abbey; The Borgias (Showtime) begins its new season on Sunday - can't wait!; afraid I'm a Real Housewives nutcase, as well as Celebrity Apprentice, Survivor, and Project Runway.
I know there are an amazing amount of terrific basic channel TV shows: sitcoms, crime drama, etc., but they all usually compete with my favorites from the other cable channels, so I tend to miss them all.

Same sitcoms as Frank but I have to add Big Bang Theory to that list.

Re: Recent/Current TV Faves
Fav comedy: Big Bang Theory
Fav dramas: Blue Bloods, Murdoch Mysteries
We watch a ton of HGTV, Food Network and the like. We're also quite big on Brit TV like Midsomer Murders, and an Aussie show that is no longer in production called Sea Patrol. Both are great dramas that tackle serious fare without resorting to CSI style gore and violence.
There's another Aussie crime drama called Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, we're waiting for season two. (Sue lurvs her crime dramas)
Then there's a science fiction series called Falling Skies that we really got into but, like with Miss Fisher, are waiting for the second season. We're also waiting for the next season of Royal Pains, a very entertaining dramedy.
