20 obselete English words
I beg to differ, because I 'm sure I've witnessed Cur using some of these. Anyway, this is the reason I'm not scriptitating enough. Too much procrastination with websites like this:
If we use them again they won't be obselete

Soob,
It's late in this cave. My steam-powered computer is wheezing. Well, the computer isn't wheezing' The damn steam machine powering it is.
I didn't see any context. Did the thread get foreshortened?
I'm perfuzzled.

Re: 20 obselete English words
You've illustrated my point nicely there, Cur. Perfuzzled isn't on the list from the link, but it certainly could be.
My comment before was about the link. They say these words, once in common usage, have become obselete due to lack of use. I immediately thought of you!

Ol' Cur, how 'bout if you try the (unshortened) link:
http://matadornetwork.com/abroad/20-obsolete-english-words-that-should-make-a-comeback/
I think I shall use the word brabble. Has a nice ring -- sort of reminds me of what I excel in: drivel.
As for freck: "It's freckin' cold out there."

Re: 20 obselete English words
I can't see the link as its blocked in work.
However, I believe there are quite a few words which are now never used, one of my favourites is "Ginnel" - a passageway between two houses (quite a northern expression that one).
Anyone got anymore?

Re: 20 obselete English words
Slick, my mum says 'ginnel' all the time as they have one next to their house!
