Commiserations, Charlie.

I'm a Raptors fan. Believe me, I know that pain.

Leafs did wonders for their psyches with last night's last-second win in OT. Son #2 (rabid Leafs fan) just about turned inside out.

Frattin has re-earned himself a long look, maybe even after Lupul and MacArthur come back.

Damn, that was EXCITING!

I agree, Frank. Frattin is playing well, as is Nazem Kadri, who I hope continues to prove the naysayers wrong. Annoys me no end when peeps put him down, he's scoring at a pace that's ahead of where Phil Kessel was after the same number of games in the NHL. I predict that Kadri is going to be a great player in this league and I hope to hell the Leafs hang on to him.

AARGH! Why can't we win more than one game in a row?!

On the up side, my man Kadri is the Leaf's scoring leader so far this season, which should shut his detractors up once and for all.

Then again, even at the height of his powers, there were mental midgets who claimed Wayne Gretzky was a lousy hockey player.

Re: Hockey's Back

The Jets were due. And ditto the Leafs. I watched most of the Leaf game. They played well but there really does seem to be something "off" with Ovechkin. He's not playing badly but he seem to be lacking the zest, the pure joy of playing the game, that he used to embody.
