London 2012 Olympics
The Games are only a little over three weeks away. Despite the politics, head-scratching judging and over-the-top hoopla, I always look forward to them.
Tough to beat the drama of young people sacrificing years of their life to train for a specific event that may last fewer than 10 seconds.
And for the first time, I'm going to be able to see it all unfold in HD!
Excuse me. Time to hug my tv.

Re: London 2012 Olympics
Some of us are going to see it in more than just HD ... In Real Life baby!
(Ok, its only the Football, and its only at Old Trafford, Manchester but its still the olympics ).

Re: London 2012 Olympics
That's cool, Slick. The Vancouver games were just too far for me to travel. I'm unlikely to see any Olympic event live.
But did I mention my HD tv?

Might not hurt to remind me a little closer to the event.

Re: London 2012 Olympics
I'm totally excited about the Olympics, as I am every two years.

Re: London 2012 Olympics
About a half-hour into the Opening Ceremonies and I'm impressed, so far.

*fingers in the ears* lalalalalalala...
Gonna watch the replay in prime time when I get home from work. Which begs the question: if I don't want any spoilers, why did I look in this thread now?
Yes, I are a idjit.

Re: London 2012 Olympics
OK then, I won't say that I think it's the opening ceremony I've enjoyed most so far.
